By Mohamed Aly, CEO of Seeloz
As I look back on Seeloz’s journey, I am reminded of the challenges and insights that led us to where we are today. When Seeloz was founded, we were focused on transforming supply chain automation. Supply chains were—and still are—an area of complexity where conventional tools often fell short, struggling to keep pace with the speed, unpredictability, and vast scale of today’s demands. Our Reinforcement Learning Automation (RLA) platform was developed to address these pain points by making supply chains adaptive, intelligent, and efficient.
However, as we began to see our technology’s success in supply chain environments, it became clear that the power of RLA wasn’t limited to this domain. Many industries face similar complexities, whether in energy, healthcare, or manufacturing. These industries needed a way to dynamically optimize complex systems, overcome uncertainty, and achieve sustainable results—much like what we had done with supply chains. It was from these insights that the idea of Collaborative AI Automation (CAIA) was born.
Human-centric AI collaboration
CAIA isn’t just an extension of our platform; it’s a new approach to harnessing AI. When we talk about “Collaborative AI Automation,” we’re talking about a system where humans and AI work hand-in-hand to tackle optimization challenges across industries. Traditional AI systems are advanced but lack the real-time adaptability to handle unpredictable environments. At Seeloz, we saw an opportunity to build something different—an approach where Reinforcement Learning agents adapt autonomously while benefiting from human oversight and domain expertise.
Imagine an oil refinery optimizing production in real-time based on the fluctuations of energy prices, availability of resources, and the status of equipment. Or imagine a healthcare supply chain progressively adjusting based on patient needs to ensure that medicines reach the patients who need them most at the right time. CAIA gives us the tools to achieve this vision, meaningfully extending the reach of AI in a human-centric way.
Empowering industries through CAIA
The expansion from supply chain automation to CAIA is not just about business growth; it’s about impact. I firmly believe that technology should serve a greater purpose, and at Seeloz, our purpose is to create solutions that make a difference. With CAIA, we’re building tools that do more than just streamline processes. We’re enabling industries to be resilient, adaptable, and, ultimately, more humane.
Let me take the energy industry for instance. CAIA allows companies to really optimize their energy usage to reduce emissions and lower the cost of operations. It is as much about business efficiency and sustainability as it is about a sustainable planet. Be it climate-related or economic-based challenges, what I see is that CAIA will actively contribute in helping industries evolve toward sustainable success.
Seeloz’s vision for global impact
Expanding Seeloz’s focus to CAIA has been a journey marked by curiosity, resilience, and a commitment to positive impact. I am very proud of what our team has built and excited about what lies ahead. And it is my belief that AI should not be reduced to isolated applications or incremental gains. It should genuinely transform, a true partner for driving industries forward in order to create a better world.
“Autonomy for Impact” is more than just a tagline for us; it’s our vision, commitment, and promise. Seeloz is here to make a difference—not just for industries but for everyone they touch. This journey from supply chain automation to Collaborative AI Automation is just the beginning. I look forward to continuing this mission with our partners, clients, and team, making Seeloz a force for positive, far-reaching change.
